Neighborhood update

A future update can explain what is changing, who it affects, the effective dates, and where to ask questions.

No change is announced by this sample.
Posted: not published · Status: draft only

Keep using the current notice channels. This trial does not replace mailed, emailed, posted, or other notices required by law or the association’s governing documents.
Past notices and board publishing checklist

The notice archive is empty. Before launch, each approved notice should show its publication date, effective or meeting date, current status, and board-approved document or agenda.

  1. Confirm the correct association and approve the notice.
  2. Check the required timing, delivery methods, and recipients.
  3. Publish the approved text and keep a dated record of required delivery.
  4. Retain the original notice and clearly label later corrections or cancellations.

Website publishing alone is not proof that every legal notice requirement has been met.

Resident community board

A place for resident ideas, neighborhood questions, and non-sensitive concerns. Every submission must be reviewed and approved by a designated moderator before it can appear here. Comments and replies on posts will be turned off.

Submit for review → Moderator approval → Publish. No automatic posting. Community posts are separate from official board notices. This trial shows the proposed workflow only; submissions and moderation are not active.

Common-area improvement idea

This space shows how an approved resident post could look. A moderator would review the wording and remove private or identifying information before publication.

Example only · Not submitted or approved

Before you submit

Keep personal matters private

Please use Report an issue for complaints involving a specific household, private contact details, or matters needing a private response.

Avoid naming neighbors, sharing resident addresses, or posting personal accusations. Emergencies: call 911.

How approval will work
  1. An adult resident submits proposed post text for private review.
  2. A designated moderator reviews it under board-approved posting rules. Submissions are never published automatically.
  3. Only approved text is published to this community board. The moderator can request changes or decline a post.
  4. Published posts show a publication date and status. There are no public comments or reply threads.

Before launch, the board must approve a moderator, posting rules, submission storage, retention, privacy, and the process for corrections or removal.

03 / Let the board know

Report a neighborhood issue

The planned form will help residents report common-area maintenance, neighborhood concerns, or questions for the board. Reports will not appear on a public complaint feed.

Preview only. Submissions are not being accepted. Use the association’s existing contact method for current concerns. For an emergency, call 911.
Disabled form preview · Please do not enter personal information

Access, storage, retention, and response procedures must be approved before this form opens. Reports may become association records; confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. This preview is not a formal records-request or legal-notice channel.

04 / Stay connected

Update contact information

A planned registration form for adult owners and renters, so the association can maintain accurate contact information and send appropriate community updates.

Disabled form preview · No information is collected

Before launch, the board must approve the privacy notice, authorized recipients, secure storage, correction process, and retention rules. Contact details will not be displayed in a public resident directory.

Governing documents and policies

Board-approved links to the correct association’s declaration, bylaws, current policies, and management information will be added after version and entity review. No draft policy is presented here as effective.

Need help or prefer another way to communicate?

Continue using the association’s current board or management contact method. The approved contact details, mailing address, and any assistance options will be shown here before launch.

The live website should remain simple to read on phones and computers, with clear headings, large buttons, and keyboard-friendly navigation.

What must happen before this goes live?
  • Confirm the legal association name, website owner, and domain registration details.
  • Obtain board approval for the website and its notice procedures.
  • Review applicable Texas law and the association’s governing documents with qualified counsel.
  • Approve form privacy, storage, access, retention, and email-consent procedures.
  • Assign named board editors with appropriate permissions, test accessibility, and document the publishing process.

This trial is a design preview and does not establish legal compliance or replace existing association procedures.
